Is
it or isn't it real? Mixing hoax with satire, this documentary plays
with its audience's perceptions while poking fun at reality-based
television concepts and the fly-on-the-wall documentary style. In the
vein of Startup.com and Edreams, the film follows two young and misguided entrepreneurs on an unlikely journey starting up an internet business. |

Taking its cue from Al Pacino's Looking For Richard, only with an attitude somewhat less reverential, this documentary follows one man's quest to adapt Shakespeare's Macbeth
into a modern filmic retelling. As well as investigating the
relationship between the stage and its more modern cinematic
counterpart (and in such a way as to make it appealing to those not
familiar with Shakespeare), the documentary explores the enduring
relevance of 'The Scottish Play' with particular attention to Scottish
audiences and with comment from the relevant luminaries. |
